this dream did not take place

I'm having a meal and a few drinks with my close friends, the seat next to me is empty, I think Maddie has gone to the toilet or to the bar.

The postmodern philosopher Jean Baudrillard walks in through the door and sits next to me. What a suprise! He is wearing a big wool coat with a dark grey scarf.

Now you would expect someone like Jean to instantly start going on: "Hyperreal this, Simulacrum that, the gulf war didn't happen, blah, blah, blah..."

But he asked me how I was. Said I looked nice. While I was talking he slowly leaned in more... and more. His hand was on my thigh whilst he was showing me his whatsapp, trying to get me to add him so we could talk more. Nice bloke I thought.

I go over to the bar and spot Maddie, explain to her who I've been talking to."Freddie" she cuts me off, "He is obviously coming on to you." "Shit."

I guess I have to explain to him that I'm not really into old blokes that way.

"Look Jean, your a right laugh, you really are, and I would love to stay in touch, but I'm already with someone and touching me up like that just isn't on".
